For his solo exhibition at the Tanneries entitled IN HAWAII, Benoît Maire (born in 1978 in Pessac, lives and works in Bordeaux) presents in the Galerie Haute a set of paintings, sculptures, collages and other silkscreens. These works, almost all unshown, are part of a filiation with series of creations emblematic of the work of the artist who proposes here, through a diverted museum device, reconfigurations, between repetitions, innovations and renewals.
