Claudio Parmiggiani created an ephemeral installation in situ for the exhibition Chantiers/Publics at the Fabre Museum in 2002.

In his installation, Parmiggiani chooses as medium dust and soot. He keeps a "memory" trace of the place, of the work which is destined to remain in the very structure that housed the installation.
